The Kelvin - Peaceful West End River View Property

This property is an excellent apartment in a quiet area of Glasgow. It was well presented and the instructions were very easy to follow. The free parking wax also welcomed.

A great place to stay, very comfortable, clear instructions, clean and well-equipped. The location was quite, with a view of the river Kelvin.

Some of the kitchen equipment could be upgraded (knives sharpened, a new frying pan...) One of the lights in the kitchen was flickering.

The location of the flat was fantastic, within walking distance of the Botanical Gardens (accessible via a lovely river walk). Parking was great and plentiful. The flat was clean and spacious.

Although the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, the nonstick covering on the pans had been mistreated by previous guests making them not nice to use. The owners have complete control of the heating, which was a little annoying, but to give them credit, they did adjust it as soon as we asked. The sofa bed, however, was very uncomfortable as it has a join of two cushions running the length of the "bed". I'd suggest they invest in a better sofa bed if they are advertising this apartment as having sleeping facilities for two adults or more sleeping separately.

It was very clean, had all necessary facilities, was in a great location, and the property owners were very attentive and helpful.

The downstairs neighbor reported that there was a water leak into his flat; however, the owners of this property responded very quickly to get the situation sorted out which was helpful.
