Remarkable Woodsider - family friendly walk to town

I have stayed in a few different serviced properties around Queenstown in the last 4 months and this property is by far my favourite. I can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, beautifully maintained and tastefully decorated property for their holiday stay. From the great views to the proximity to town being a comfortable walking distance, it has everything you need to make your stay memorable.

The decor, the views,the location, the cleanliness, the ambience, the small attention to detail, the large bath towels,the roomy wardrobe and luggage storage areas, excellent size and well stocked kitchen, the moderness and layout of the apartment, the promptness and willingness of the property management team to deal with any potential issues.

Plastic/polyester fibre bedding covers and mattress topper, poor quality pillows (really disliked the cheap, chunky foam bedroom pillows that surprised me considering the quality of a lot of other furnishings provided), lack of garage door opener, and felt like I needed pull down blinds over the bathroom and kitchen windows.

Very clean and modern property.

Lots of home comforts - generous and comfortable living and bedroom areas and thoughtful additions like wireless charging lamps, sensor entry light and hooks on the bathroom doors! Property guide online with detailed info was really helpful before arrival and during our stay!

There wasn’t much to not love but I wasn’t able to get the oven working til I downloaded the instructions from the manufacturer website and found you had to set the clock time first (unfortunately I wasn’t able to find any appliance instructions as per the property guide - perhaps the kitchen set up has changed since the guide was created and needs to be updated as there is no unit with drawers to the left of the sink?) the tv remotes had also been swapped so the bedroom remote was in the lounge room - we couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working til I noticed on the back side it had been tagged for the bedroom!

The house is beautiful and ideally situated in a lovely neighborhood, just a short distance from the city center. We greatly appreciate the hosts, who are always available even in the evenings and on weekends, and their flexibility with check-in and check-out times. The house was spotless and fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The on-site parking also made it so convenient. Thanks so much!

One of the best properties I have ever experienced in New Zealand! Easy check in and out, whole house was super clean, cooking tools well prepared and location was fantastic and very convenient to explore Queenstown. Some might think this house is a bit far and challenging to walk to town but only took 15mins to Ferg burger and the scenery walking towards town and walking back home was very enjoyable. My mum and auntie in their middle of 70s, they also enjoyed the walk as a stroll. We had a car but I walked to town every day to feel Queenstown enough. Most of all, the view through the window from the living room was always breathtaking. Our family all felt very safe and comfortable during our stay.

The stench came up badly from the sewer of the shower booth in the bath room upstairs, but it disappeared after a few uses of water. Check might be needed.

Modern, clean and well equipped. Great location!

The vents in the bedrooms upstairs were a bit noisy, coming on and off randomly. Especially noticeable at night.
