Custom Built Cottage in Downtown with Pool

It's clean, roomy and comfortable. Close to great restaurants, thrift shops, entrainment and the Capitol. There's outside areas for coffee or visiting. The pool looked inviting although it was too cool to take advantage of. It was very relaxing. Reasonably priced.

The trains run all night long, complete with warning horns. Ear plugs would be recommended. There's a step at the gate that needs to be highlighted - one of us fell off it.

I wish the windows along the stairs had curtains or blinds. Entrance was off an alley and it was a little bit creepy at night.

The place itself was great. Clean, all the most modern touches. The bathtub was amazing and bed sooo comfy.

Upon leaving we left a small load of laundry in dryer. It took little while to get response and when I did I was informed I could come back and get it. The cleaning lady had bagged it up and put it out in their trash area next to recycling bin. We got there. Nothing was there. After speaking with the host maybe? who lives on site he was able to locate the laundry however the reason this laundry was important was because I left $300 bucks in my pants pocket I washed. Of course no one had seen it...

The cottage itself was clean and well-equipped. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the layout was modern and comfortable.

The location shown in the pictures was not accurate. It’s important for future guests to double-check the address. We also had issues with the garage door and were charged $60 to fix it, even though we didn’t cause the problem. On top of that, we were accused of things we never say— luckily, we had videos to prove otherwise. I recommend testing everything and documenting it when you arrive.

I loved that it was tucked away. Everything looks newly renovated.

It was a challenge to find. However, it was easy to figure out.

Only down fall, wish there was a bathroom on the ground floor

It was really nice meeting the owner, Michael. He was so friendly and helpful. The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed. Everything was new and very clean. Having a garage to use was much appreciated. Overall, we loved our stay here.

My only suggestion would be to provide better fitting sheets and blanket for the fold out couch/bed in the 2nd bedroom. It's a very small room but was fine for 1 person.

Bathroom sink only had a cold water option, sofa in living room was broken but quickly replaced with the sofa from the upstairs study and I didn’t know train tracks were right across from our rental parking was a bit hard unless you have a small car then it would totally work the gravel in the alley was loud when other residents were coming and going
