Lovely 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Apartment with Parking

Clean and tidy upon arrival with excellent parking.

Replied to management's message asking for feedback and didn't receive the couple of things we asked for, eg, some more coat hangers, etc

The fact there were 2 showers and toilets was great. There was everything we needed for our stay and even little toiletries if you had forgotten anything and also the little kitchen pack with clean tea towel and washing up liquid etc was great. Plenty of tea and coffee supplies. The property is within 10min walk of town and 15 min walk to Great Central Railway. Plenty of room in all rooms.

This wouldn't bother others maybe but I don't like firm mattresses it made my hips hurt but other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Was on a main road

The position of the lockbox was well explained prior to out arrival. The property was a 10min walk to the train station. When we couldn't find a way to put the heating on the telephone communication was very helpful. There were some lovely touches for our dog - dog bowl, treats, and a little dog bed. Comfortable beds. Clean linen.

The property faced a main road and when cars drove past it was very loud. There were some pans/oven trays and plates that needed rewashing prior to use.

Contact with hosts was excellent and property was close to town.

The property was far too expensive for the quality of the accommodation. There were flies in the property when we arrived and the property was not very clean. Especially considering we paid over £80 for cleaning. Also charging a £250 deposit is unheard of on Booking.com in my experience.

On a busy road

The location of the property was great. And it was very clean on arrival. It served the purpose of our visit to see my family.

As we was in the room called the beacon it was facing the road. This made it very noisy. In addition to the vertical blinds, the rooms could ideally do with curtains or a roller blind to block out more of the light. Inspection of the property could’ve been better before our arrival as the toilet seat was disattached and laid down the side. However, this was later rectified once it was mentioned. thank you for that. The freezer compartment door seal is not sealing properly which is why the freezer compartment was quite iced up and frosty. Room description before purchase could do with being better described . As on arrival, we had no private entrance. our door was on a footpath on the main road. The facilities description stated there was a tumble dryer which there wasn’t, tea/ coffee maker was also stated in the list which wasn’t there. This however did not ruin our stay but slightly disappointed with the above.
