"Stay Was Nice - Shame about the Host"

Nice view and house.

The owner. I accidentally left an item behind which I assumed the cleaner would notify the owner of. They didn’t and decided to keep it. When I challenged him I received a barrage of insults and arrogance. He couldn’t see what the problem was and when I said it was a personal item he responded with “one man’s treasure is another man’s trash”. Certainly not something you would expect from a host. I will therefore not be returning to this place.

We loved the decor and comfortable beds and sofas. Spacious with everything we could possibly need. Cleaning was to an excellent standard. The views from the property were stunning and an endless variety of walks made it perfect. Really enjoyed my walks along the beach with my dog early every morning. We would definitely love to return in the future if you'll have us. Thank you for a wonderful much needed break.

The one thing I would suggest is to have a socket beside a mirror in the downstairs bedroom for using hairdryer. Not a big deal as I used the upstairs one in my daughters room. Can't say anything else as we had everything needed for stay.Exce

"Highly recommend Hill Crest for a comfortable stay in an amazing location."

The location of Hill Crest is amazing. The view is beautiful and if you open windows in the house you can hear the waves on the beach below. The accommodation is very comfortable, clean and so well equipped. Staff were extremely helpful when we left something behind.

This is my second stay at Hill Crest and i don't have anything negative to say about the accommodation.
