Orilla de Mar: Vistas de ensueño en Cala Almadraba

Based on high score review (10/10…) and nice pictures presented, we decided to rent it for 5 nights. The orilla apartament is old and needs rennovation, visible cracks and paint worn or missing on the walls and corners. The kitchen and living room is dark, no small lamps nor reading lights present, only ceiling lights.  The bed in the master bedroom too short (!), I’m not tall at all (175cm) but my feet were sticking out beside the bed at night. Bed sheets uncomfortable, made of sort of plastic fabric, so you get sweat, even though it was quite cold at night in December. The apartament didn’t meet our expectations, so we decided to shortened our vacation and leave. Due to the flights availability, we departed on day 2. The host was informed about our decision and remarks, but refused to return the money for unused days. The apartament is not worth its price, imho.

Unique find - apartment is right on the cliff, next to the beach in a calm neighborhood. Stayed for mini workation in December, had no issues with the internet and there was dedicated working space with a monitor and amazing view. Quite spacious and fully equipped kitchen. Liked to spend evenings in the heated terrace after workday. Will definitely be coming back for a longer stay, work or holiday.
