The owner responds to messages very quickly and is extremely friendly. The location is excellent – within walking distance to the bus station and also to the city center. The neighborhood is quiet, which pleasantly surprised us and there are shops and restaurants nearby. The apartment is functional with a washing machine that worked perfectly.

We did not realize from the description that the apartment is in the basement, meaning the street-level windows are at ground level. It was a bit uncomfortable as people walked right in front of the windows and we felt uneasy opening them fully or leaving them open when we were out. There are also iron grilles on the outside, presumably for security. The kitchen and bathroom windows open only into the building corridor or courtyard, not outside. The bathroom is extremely small, even though we saw this mentioned in other reviews, it felt even more cramped in person. The bedroom had a slight sense of dampness and stale air and the interior shows its age, visible on edges and walls. The indoor drying rack was broken, making it difficult to dry clothes and since there is no outdoor drying option due to the ground-floor location, we had to spread laundry throughout the apartment. The apartment appeared brighter, cleaner, and more orderly in photos than it did in reality. There is limited natural light due to the low position in the building on a side street.

The location and the fact that it was a closed condominium.

The photos were very different then the apartment and the silverware were very dirty. The size of the apartment did not justified the price we paid.
