Modern Luxurious Apartment w/ Patio Balcony & View

It was very clean, spacious, well thought out and the view is absolutely stunning.

Keypad entry was handy. The apartment was lovely and very tidy and clean. We booked very late as we needed to move so the owner turned on the heating remotely for our arrival but this didn't last Lots of extras and a supply of hot drinks, milk etc - overall the apartment is well appointed but without heating and uncomfortable beds - it spoiled the stay for us.

I found the bed a bit uncomfortable - it was a spring mattress and they are not the best beds to sleep on. I do find that the bed is the most important issue for me when I book somewhere. I ended up with aching arms. One bedroom had a radiator which wasn't working and to be fair the owner did offer to come the next day to repair it. We said not to bother as the rest of the apartment was warm at that time. Unfortunately, when we returned to the apartment on the 2nd day after attending a funeral, we found the place was freezing cold. I didn't contact the owner until the next morning because it was close to midnight. I texted at 8 am and did not get a reply until after we checked out. He told me that the app he was using showed that the apartment was over 20 degrees. He said he didn't turn the heating off, but I fail to understand how he didn't considering we had no control over the heating and the place was cold. For that reason, I would not stay again. It's odd to rely on someone else to determine when and how much heat you can have when paying for a place to stay. I don't believe that is serving the customer's needs and is a very inconvenient way for a guest to have to operate. Who wants to be calling or texting a landlord to tweek the heating. Considering we had no heating for the last day and evening of our stay I would have thought it appropriate to offer some refund, but nothing was offered. At over £150 per night I think it was well above the average cost and should have been kept warm our entire stay.

Beautiful apartment, exceptionally clean and every detail had been thought about. In a nice quiet area and close to local shops, bars and restaurants. Short drive into the centre of Belfast. Check in was well communicated.
