Villa La Estancia - Medano Beach Villas

Our room was amazing beautiful view. The property was awesome people snd staff were so friendly. Food was good also. Lots of options

The hotel/condo complex was within walking distance of the harbor and downtown and yet far enough away so that you did not hear all the noise at night. The Estancia appearance and grounds were first class, and the staff was super polite and helpful. The two-bedroom condo (unit 2405) was spacious and had a large balcony. The furniture was up to date. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped. The view from the balcony of the gulf/ocean was very relaxing. Also, the hotel was at most 70% occupied and had few children, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. Our host's (not with the hotel's) representative was waiting for us at the unit and had prepared fresh guacamole, salsa and margaritas. She was very helpful, provided us with an understand of the area and town and checked on us during the week. That was GREAT!

The market, drink and restaurant prices were high, but that is to be expected at a quality resort. Unfortunately, for a couple of days we were near a unit that had occupants that while on their balcony were loud and routinely yelling to folks at the pool area.

The staff are very helpful and friendly.

Too expensive Not enough food

Amazing pool overlooking the water with a beautiful view of the rocks. Pool and hot tubs were perfect temps, and we had no issues getting lounge chairs. Food was good but a little pricy. Rooms were huge and very nice. Well-equipped if you plan on cooking!

No direct beach access due to hurricane as of Nov 2023, but you can walk down at Villa Palermo. We also chose to Uber to/from town at night because there isn’t a safe sidewalk.
