Casa Franca - Terracielo a Bari Vecchia

Check in instructions were very easy and I felt the host was very flexible and available if I needed anything. The location of Casa Franca was perfect in my opinion for experiencing life as a local. It's close to cafes, restaurants, local sights and even central Bari for shopping but be mindful that it is about a 15-20 minute walk to/from the apartment to the strain station. The route however is a straight shot and super walkable. Casa Franca was very clean and had plenty of space for 4 adults. The AC worked very well when it was very hot outside. We had all the amenities for heating up quick meals/eating, making Nespresso coffee and washing dishes. The rooftop was one of the reasons we booked, it was super cute and clean. Would have loved to have used the rooftop more except it was a little too warm as our stay was in the peak of summer. The best part about the stay was the shower and spacious bathroom which felt luxurious after a long day of exploring. I think the breakfast tickets were a fantastic idea and my only regret was that my group did not get up early enough to use it.

Not the best set up if you plan to cook/lounge around indoors with a group of people (besides the rooftop which is excellent for that). The apartment is best if you're mainly out exploring most of the day and want a comfy place to relax when you want to rest. Due to the apartment being built tall and the steep steps, it's probably not the safest choice for small children/seniors but fine for adults.

We loved the location and the interior of the property. The host was very accommodating and communicated with us before the arrival and checked that we managed to find the place and we got in.

The accommodation has 3 sets of a very steep stairs which kept us fit :) but all old town apartments are built this way. Didn't bother us at all but it could be a problem for less mobile people.

Amazing place. Created with love and passion for details. Couple of floors. Patio on the top. We are in love. A lot of space, all needed stuff. In the centre of historical part of Bari. Dont go to other places-only here!

OUTSTANDING hosts! Very hospitable and accommodating. We were happy to be the first to rent this home located in the heart of Bari's beautiful Old Town. Would certainly stay there again when back in Bari.
