La Casa di Riccardo Cosy in Center Town

The location is excellent and the apartment is very nice with everything travelers would need.

The 4 flights of stairs is a killer. It would have been nice to have a box on the ground floor where we could drop the garbage card instead of having to climb up stairs at the end.

The appt was well stocked: I needed scissors and there they were. I found a deck of cards I used every day. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The appt is very pretty, good light, nice views out the main room window and was very clean. It's in a great location- only a 10 min walk to train station. Everything you need right out your door: delis, shops, restaurants, bars/caffès, Tania was great to work with! My flight arrived late and she was able to leave the keys in a nearby lock box.

I didn't realize there was 5 flights/81 stairs! Wasn't clear in the description. I was fine with the extra steps and I had some cousins who helped me with my suitcase the night I moved in but it might be difficult for others. The bedroom is directly over a main street (Santa Croce near Fillungo) and even though you're 5 floors up, the sound carries against all that brick and it's very loud especially on the weekends until 2 or 3 am... I'm a heavy sleeper so it was fine but light sleepers might have difficulty.

Location is perfect and the apartment has all amenities for a comfortable stay.

Not a problem for us, but future guests should know that the apartment is on the top floor and not suitable for persons with reduced mobility.
