Marrakech M Avenue terrasse jardin

Very welcoming and accommodating service. Good communication. Excellent and convenient location. Great terrace for privacy. In the heart of M Avenue for restaurants.

Mohamed (the owner) arranged to meet us at a convenient time, and was very friendly. I had been a little confused about the exact location from the address, but he sent a whatsapp with the exact map location. It is basically right next to the entrance to M Avenue, in the Hivernage Gardens building - so you can just tell a cab to take you to you M Avenue / Pestana CR7. M Avenue itself is a pedestrian avenue, with various high-end boutiques, eateries and lots more - you will find plenty. You are also only about 15 mins walk from Menara Mall, which has a Carrefour supermarket. As others have mentioned, the area feels very safe (not that I have ever actually felt 'unsafe' even in the more deprived areas of Marrakesh) - private security on duty and police seem to have a permanent presence. The apartment itself has everything you could need, and a wonderful large private terrace that is better than the photos. The pool looked great, although we didn't use it. After some time camping in the desert, and then in a Riad in the Medina, this felt like a welcome step-up in luxury and comfort (the apartment itself and the local area). We basically ate out, or had takeaway, but the Kitchen had every mod-con anyone could want.

If one were being really nit picky, the 'fit and finish' of the building seems to fall short of western standards - even though I suspect this passes for 'very high end' in Marrakesh. It really doesn't hinder things, but small things crop up like latches and sliding doors that don't always work 100% or grouting, masonry and tile work that wouldn't pass muster in even a mid-range dwelling in the UK or Europe. Generally speaking however, I felt like we were staying in a very nice place and we were very comfortable.
