"An exceptional cottage in a beautiful part of historic Yorkshire"

Host supplies everything needed and more for a very comfortable stay/ It is a very well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer. All seem very new as does cooker. A huge range of cutlery and cooking utensils makes the property a home from home. The smart tv has Netflix and Amazon Prime Apps so even on the wettest of days there is 'in-house- entertainment providing you have a subscription. Heating is also very simple to use and cottage is remarkably warm given it's 17th century age. Not far to the Turkey Inn at Gooseye. Definitely worth a visit, especially for the Sunday roast! The Bronte parsonage is also just up the road.

I guess that there could be a tv in the main bedroom, but this is a very small point in an otherwise well equipped property. The location won't suit everyone as the area is very hilly and roads are very narrow in places. But then again this is part and parcel of the areas beauty.

"Laycock weekend away."

The cottage was beautiful a mix of the very old and new. A gorgeous comfy bed aided in 2 great sleeps. We were fortunate because the weather was perfect. The location is ideal for exploring the dales. A little walk away is the Turkey Inn serving excellent food. David replied to my questions immediately. I would fully recommend and will definitely visit again.

Nothing....perfect weekend away.
