"Two nights en route to North Wales, new to Shropshire - it's lovely even in the rain."

9.0

Did our own food but there were cornflakes and milk in the courtesy hamper, which was nice, and a little bottle of wine! Thank you. Kitchen was nicely equipped and we cooked our own supper very satisfactorily. Our stay was very wet (storm Babet) so we were glad to be able to tuck up warm and be out of the rain.

Some shelves and hooks were very high up - quite a stretch for little people like me. But not a real problem.

"Warm and welcoming, great hosts"

9.0

Warm and welcoming, cosy, well equipped including separate excellent drying and laundry facilities

I had hoped for a view from the cottage but enjoyed watching farm life on the days we were unable to go out

"Lovely little stay in this excellent, cosy little barn"

10.0

Good communication with owners beforehand for easy access. Parking clearly laid out. This is a superbly converted, fitted out and equipped little barn. We found it a really comfortable and relaxing place to stay (2 nights). One of the most carefully thought out holiday lettings we’ve stayed in. Very nice bed, great shower, good full mini kitchen, well equipped. Generous food and drink gifts and a lovely welcome from Kirsty & Chris, who then offered anything we needed and left us to it (perfect). Adjoining store / utility room great for boots and drying wet coats. We will revisit if needing to stay in the area 👍🏻

Nothing really. There is no view from the barn, it’s next to the farmyard area, but had the weather been nicer we’d have used the nice little decking area outside.

"Just Perfect!"

The barn conversion was beautifully done. It was decorated perfectly, we actually said ‘Wow!’ when we walked in the door. It was well equipped, the had thought of everything. The welcome hamper was a lovely surprise too.
