"Masseria and peace of mind"

The masseria of Giovanni and Luisa Is a Little gemme in the countryside between Gravina and Matera and they are amazing hosts. We felt so relaxed and at home there. 10 out of 10 for their place and their kindness.

"Gelungener Aufenthalt nahe Matera"

Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie geben einem wertvolle Tipps für den Aufenthalt in Matera. Das Haus ist sehr schön, das Zimmer auch. Mit gefällt auch die Lage auf dem Land etwas außerhalb der Stadt. Frühstück war für italienische Verhältnisse gut. Detr Espresso ist ausgezeichnet, dem Kaffee können wir besser ;-) im Ergebnis daher volle Punktzahl. Danke

Die Kopfkissen sind zu dick (Geschmackssache).

Posto incantevole, dinanzi una distesa, sembra di guardare oltre la siepe dell'infinito. Proprietari di casa accoglienti e gentili, gattini super carini e coccolosi in zona. Colazione buonissima, con una grande varietà di prodotti freschi. Matera e Gravina raggiungibili in pochi minuti di auto. Super consigliato!

De gastvrijheid en vriendelijkheid van de hosts was perfect! Communicatie via de ap verliep uitstekend. Geweldig mooie en ruime kamer met alles er op en er aan (inclusief koelkastje). We hadden er heel bewust voor gekozen om buiten de drukte te zitten; geen parkeer gedoe. En we kregen goede parkeertips van onze host Giovanni voor in Matera. Werkte perfect.

"A welcome oasis on a long Camino Stage."

Beautifully restored Masseria near the Sanctuary of Picciano. Lovely dinner with good wine, a great place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of city and even village life. It's an isolated spot but has easy road access. Great fruendly hosts!! We were walking the Camino Materano to Matera so it was a valued option on a stretch that has few choices as the Sanctuary does not welcome Camino walkers. It replaces a 6km stretch uphill 200m with an easy 4km flat track, with the offer of a drive up to the Sanctuary next morning.
