Marigold lodge 8 at Oakdene Forest Park

Lovely quiet spacious lodge, good location for Bournemouth and Sandbanks. Plenty of supermarkets and places to eat not far away. We only used the indoor pool facilities but the kids enjoyed them. Didn't receive the passes for facilities by email on the day, but after speaking with reception they sent them straight over.

Lovely welcome with tea/coffee/biscuits and milk. Living area well presented and very comfortable and cosy. Effective heating welcome on a rainy day. Provision of board games and Netflix well appreciated. Peaceful surroundings, very quiet, nestled in the trees. There was plenty of local information and facilities on site.

We struggled to follow the instructions and had to download the map. We did arrive in torrential rain, which didn't help! Bedrooms felt a little cold and damp. Provision of basic soap/shampoo/shower gel would have been nice in the bathrooms. I think there was liquid hand soap in the family bathroom. However it wasn't on the accommodation list and I brought my own. These were minor things and on the whole, it was a lovely place to stay. Thank you

The location of the caravan on the site was lovely and quiet. Tucked away in the corner, and shaded by trees. Nice touch was biscuits and welcome bottle of milk in the fridge. Also the bottle of wine from the owner for the upset when we arrived and seeing the decking so dirty. Nice having Netflix and the wifi was very good. Beds very comfy.

The outside decking was very dirty when we arrived. We contacted the owner who promptly arranged a lady to come the next day to clean the decking. Which we really appreciated and especially the bottle of wine he sent us . Inside the caravan was clean, except for the windows, patio door and TV screen which were dirty and had hand prints all over. The kitchen tap needs attention (very wobbly)The fridge was clean but the freezer was iced up and needs defrosting. No signal on the TV in the bedroom.

Beautifully presented accommodation with family friendly touches. Location was also good. At the end of a cul de sac so space for kids outside away from most of the traffic.

Lodge was in a really quiet spot on the park and it was perfectly clean and milk and biscuits were a nice welcome. Facilities in park centre were also nice, enjoyed the sauna.

Welcome pack/information folder was comprehensive.

Beautifully presented well kept lodge inside, lovely little touches with games to play and welcome goodies. Comfy beds, clean throughout, a bath and shower, dishwasher and washing machine, perfect for longer stays. Great location and not too far from the facilities. Really handy information pack with all the needs to knows, places of interest etc. Good communication from owners.

The decking was covered in bird poo and needed a good clean, the heating was on max so it was like a sauna and took hours to cool down with all windows open, both minor issues.

We had a fantastic weekend away just the break we needed, would definitely book again. Thank you

Great location, lots of activities near by or short distance drive away. 30min away from the seaside so perfect

Pool area was really cold and water temperature could be warmer too.
