The apartment was perfect for us , the location was brilliant, with shops, bars and beach all just 10 minutes walk

Location was great - close to the beach as well as the Marina and Old Town. The facilities were good and the pool was lovely. A very comfortable apartment with facilities as described. The host was exceptionally responsive when a city water outage affected our apartment. We were moved for two nights to another apartment until the city resolved the issue. It was a relief to have such a fast response from the host.

Good location, 10 min walk to grocery, marina restaurants, train station, 8 min to lovely beach boardwalk. Excellent tv and wifi. When asked, owner and owner’s local agent were responsive and solved problems. Generous size of apartment.

Uncomfortable bed, small uncomfortable bed pillows. Unit was not clean on check in. Vacuum cleaner had no suction. Shower drain clogged on first use. Owner’s agent had shower drain repaired within 36 hours. Owner supplied new vacuum within 72 hours. Poor lighting in kitchen. Washer and dishwasher temperamental to operate. Dog in next door apartment barked frequently, often at 0630 hr. There are 2 full flights of stairs to access unit, not obvious in listing information. There is discarded furniture (broken futon)stored on the balcony - unsightly. There is no shelf in the shower for soap/shampoo.

Absolutely horrific experience. Was in the area as my son died here, I was bullied and tormented by the owner and his 'management team'. Mother and daughter basically. The daughter met me to take me to the property, I was given no instructions on how to find it and she shouted at me very disrespectfully as wasn't happy I'd gone to reception. She was really aggressive, absolutely disgusting! The apartment is very rundown and dirty, as is the whole apartment complex. Miserable dishonest staff, it's all about the residents. I was vilified for watching TV at 7am yet didn't get one good nights sleep with the ridiculous noise from neighbours. You hear everything, it's like being in a shared house. Dogs barking constantly. The owner said he'd refund the remaining nights but wanted to change the pay rate so I'd have lost out financially! Blamed me for the problems, took no responsibility. Like I went looking for the cockroaches and dirt! Broken vacuum cleaner and bed on the balcony, nasty old furniture. It really was hell. The good reviewers must have barely been there or drunk all the time.

Fabulous location! Close to the boardwalk along the beach where you can walk for hours. 5 minutes to the marina where you can access restaurants, shops and a grocery store. 10 minute walk to Lagos center.

The hibachi style bbqs on the balcony of every unit are great but there is a design flaw with ventilation. You need to ensure you shut the balcony doors if you or a neighbour are using them.
