GBVery clean bathroom, new carpets in the bedroom, good lighting, table and chair in the room, access to TV lounge and shared kitchen and bathroom. There was free off-road secure parking at the rear. Very friendly hosts.
I wasn't exactly sure what I had signed up for before I arrived - in fact the hosts live on site in the largish property and there is at least one more guest room with shared bathroom, lounge and kitchen. Nothing wrong with any of this except that as booking.com traditionally offers hotel-type accommodation, I would have liked this to be clearer when booking. Although the house is quiet and peaceful inside, the area is quite noisy with a through road outside and people wandering home from the pub late at night. Coming from a quiet rural environment, I wasn't used to this nor did I appreciative it. Normally, you could shut the windows to keep out the noise but unfortunately this was a hot night in our recent September Indian Summer so that wasn't practical.
