The George Hotel & Brasserie, Cranbrook

My partner loved it!!!

Very attentive friendly staff. Nice soft towels Coffee machine with plenty of coffee pods. Large bed Wine menu was good Extensive Breakfast menu, portions are large but presentation needs refining.

Much of the hotel looks very tired, in need of decoration and new carpet. We stayed in room 12 which is one of the normal rooms (no beams etc), the room was not as clean as it should have been. We ended up using hand wet wipes to clean surfaces and thick dust off the headboard etc. Plenty of storage space in cupboard but again shelves needed cleaning. Diner was not good. I had two starters, both were generous portions for a starter but sadly was not fresh made , frozen ready made food and not enjoyable. My partner opted for simple Caesar salad which was okay.
