Peaceful Cosy 2 bed house in Manchester

The facilities were dangerous, the plugs were hanging off the wall, the place wasn’t clean, it was run down, the area was patrolled by police as it was so rough, the pictures make it out to be modern but in reality it was nothing like that. Definitely not peaceful as described as all you could hear was sirens and the door was bolted up like it had been booted down before. We didn’t even stay for an hour before moving to a hotel as it was so unsafe. The stairs were a major hazard, the bannister was shaky and the stairs were so steep you couldn’t get down without using the banister. There was a fire extinguisher just lying on the floor not mounted on the wall. All the furniture still had labels on it, like it was going to be returned the next day. The sofa stayed reclined as it was broke and had cigarette burns all over it. There was something in the air, I would assume dust or mould as everyone’s eyes were red and itchy just from being there for an hour.

The bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept on in all my travels and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils for self catering needs.

The light switches and plug sockets need a good clean as they were quite grubby when the rest of the place was quite clean. Also there was no mirror other than in the sitting room downstairs which was hung too high for me to use, so the addition of a mirror in the bathroom would be helpful for future guests. Also there was a packet of mouldy tea bags left in the kitchen, probably an oversight but not a great first impression. All small things that can easily be addressed, otherwise we enjoyed our stay.
