Loved pool area

When we arrived night porter couldn’t find key to our apartment . He rang receptionist who told us that room 106 was occupied. After much ringing and trying to contact owners They gave us another room for the night . Then she rang next morning at 9 to say our room was there. You don’t need that kind of reception after travelling all day. She never apologised she as much as told us we hadn’t a booking. So don’t know if we would return. Also pool bar and restaurant were closed for renovations we were not informed of this prior to our booking. A lot of works being carried out with lots of noise throughout the day.

Great little villa. Loved our holiday there. The location is perfect, only 5 minutes walk to all the shops and bars. The complex itself is so nice with all the mature grounds and gardens. The pool area is very spacious and never over crowded i.e ample sun beds but not rows and rows rammed on top of each other like some large hotels I could mention. The pool bar area is nice, although could do with a bit more shade if they want more lunch / daytime trade as was far too hot to use during peak sunshine hours if you like the shade. Villa 106 itself is really nice, well located just a short stroll to the pool. Nice modern clean kitchen area with everything you could possibly need including dishwasher and washing machine. The bathroom is nice with modern glass panel walk in shower. We’re English so the bidet was just in the way and didn’t need to be there, but suppose some people like that..lol. There was a huge 55’ smart TV which is great if you go on holiday to watch TV. We watch enough TV at home so didn’t use it while we were there, but great if TV is a must. There was also another large TV tucked away in the cupboard if you wanted to use in the bedroom, but only place to put it was on the dressing table so again didn’t bother with that. There was a huge Queen size double bed which was a bit on the firm side for our liking but didn’t struggle to sleep on it after a few beers and cocktails in the local bars of an evening. The outside area was nice with patio doors out to a shaded area and a further astro turfed area with sun beds, which was perfect for sitting on early evening and watching the sun set through an abundance of palm trees. The air conditioning worked well, it was nice and cool in the lounge / kitchen area, but the lack of any in the bedroom meant you had to leave the unit on low and full blast with the bedroom door open in the evenings to stand any chance of bringing the temperature of the bedroom down to a comfortable level.

I’ve Knocked a mark off regarding comfort purely because the bed was a bit too firm for us and lack of air con in the bedroom.
