Kings jungle safari & Culture home stay

Great time at this Homestay, the family is so friendly, comfortable and spacious rooms and the food is very tasty (organic ingredients from the garden). I did a morning walking safari and a half day jeep safari and it was incredible, we saw so much wildlife, and Manoj is a really good guide. I enjoyed the peaceful and tranquil surroundings and very much appreciated the warmth and kindness of Manoj and his wonderful family. I had already donr the day-long walking and jeep safaris in Sauraha, where i injured my leg, i was deeply sorry not have been able to do a safari tour with Manoj because he was born in Meghouli and knows the forest, the rivers, the flora and fauna like the back of his hands. Not only that, Manoj is at heart an ecologist. Everything grown and reared on the land is organic. He cares about the environment. The accommodstion, built in the traditional style of mud and thatched with grass has a rustic charm, and also. comfortable and clean. My only grip is that there was everywhere to hang cloths. But it's early days. I am looking forward to returning. Thank you so very much Monoj. You are very special. Kind and good-hearted. I wish you all the very best.

Super expérience chez Manoj. Nous avons dormi dans les chambres qui se trouvent à quelques pas de leur maison. Les environs sont calmes. On est à quelques pas de l'entrée du parc. Manoj est passionné et a de l'expérience. Il est très à l'écoute et s'adapte aux envies de tout le monde. On y a rencontré d'autres voyageurs, c'était très sympa. Bonne ambiance et cela reste familial. Nous avons fait le safari à pied. C'est une super expérience, plus aventureux qu'en jeep. Mais en jeep, vous avez plus de chances de voir des tigres apparemment en fin de journée. Il vous expliquera tous les tarifs et différentes options. Il vous aidera vraiment pour tout. Nous sommes très satisfaits du rapport qualité/prix et reviendrons un jour. Bonne continuation !

Manoj s’est montré disponible durant tout mon séjour et c’est un guide passionné par son métier. Il a tout fait pour que nous puissions voir le plus d’animaux possibles et cela a été le cas ! La nourriture était aussi très bonne.

Excellent local stay in Meghauli. The warm welcome and stay with guide Manoj and his family was a treat. Love the stories, walking, boat and jeep safari’s. Highly recommend for a true local experience.

De gastvrijheid. We voelden ons even onderdeel van het gezin, die het heel ‘gewoon’ vonden dat we er waren. We konden alles vragen. We kregen een grotere kamer omdat het niet volgeboekt was. Manoj heeft jungle toers met ons gedaan. Hij weet veel van de flora & fauna en Ayurveda. Hij doet zijn werk met liefde. Hij is bezig met het opbouwen van een mooie accommodatie (naast de homestay), dit doet hij zelf. De maaltijden worden gemaakt met voedsel uit eigen tuin.
