Cosy and Chic, Quiet Apartment in Leith

It was a comfortable apartment which is nicely maintained considering how old the building is. It had everything we needed except for a cutting board. The washing machine and clothes rack were great and the apartment was nice and warm.

This is a non-smoking apartment which is one of my non-negotiables when booking accommodation. Unfortunately, the apartment smells of cigarette smoke which is coming from the other apartments and the stair well. Not sure what the owners can do about it but it did negatively impact our enjoyment of the apartment.

Lovely flat along Leith Walk. Good transit connections, but also easy to walk into town. Flat was clean, bed was comfortable. Quiet building. Good access to restaurants and grocery stores.

The only pots in the kitchen were tiny - it would be nice to have a larger pot and a frying pan to make cooking easier. I found the keys a bit tricky, you have to wiggle them in the locks to get just the right spot to unlock (especially the main door from the street).

Perfect apartment for a couple and in a great location! The hosts had great communication and were kind enough to let us check out late. The sparkling wine was also very thoughtful! The accommodation was well equipped with everything you might need. We would definitely stay again if we return to Edinburgh.

Automatic ventilation in the kitchen a bit too loud.

The apartment matched the images provided with great accuracy. However, the bathroom appeared smaller in person than it did in the photos. The surrounding area was exceptionally quiet and clean, and the neighbors were very pleasant and respectful. Although we didn’t meet the hosts in person, as they weren’t present upon our arrival or during our stay, they were responsive and helpful when we contacted them regarding key collection. Communication throughout our stay was smooth, and they ensured we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Scotland for a few days. It offers easy access to the town, and both the bus and tram stations are conveniently located just nearby.

Location was solid, easy to take the tram into the city. Nothing to complain about for the price. Place was clean.

Lovely wee flat, in a great location, perfectly positioned, being a 5 minute walk from bus/tram stops into town. The flat is small, but perfect for the 2 of us, The sofa is nice and comfy, so we were able to lounge and watch TV happily! Dining table in the living room, too.The bed is really comfy, too, we both slept really well. Lots of storage, and a dressing table/stool to do my make up. The bathroom is small, but functional. The kitchen, small again, but perfectly adequate. We would definitely return to this flat, and would recommend it.

The shower isn't very high - my partner is just over 6 feet, and he had to duck a bit to get under it.
