HARTMANN FEEL AT HOME B&B Villa Gignese

Dieses Hotel war genau das, was ich suchte, eine Oase der Ruhe! Ein wunderschönes Anwesen, abseits von Touristenströmen, mit einem grossen Park in dem meine Hündin sich glücklich und frei bewegen konnte. Das ganze Innenleben des Hotels wurde mit sehr viel Geschmack wunderbar renoviert, jedes Detail stimmte. Francesca und Lucrezia waren die herzlichsten Gastgeberinnen, immer strahlend und hilfsbereit, ein grosses Dankeschön an euch beide! Das Frühstück grosszügig und vielfältig, alles frisch, man konnte sich selbst einen Jus aus Früchten pressen, ein Ei zubereiten, sehr guten Kaffee aus der Maschine lassen, etc. Mit dem Wagen ist man sehr schnell unten am Lago Maggiore wo es mehrere Orte gibt, die sich lohnen, besucht zu werden... ich habe mich sehr gut erholt, auch wenn das Wetter sich nicht immer von der besten Seite zeigte....

da gibt es gar nichts auszusetzen!

Beautiful villa from the 1920's completely renovated in a very modern style. Nice big property with gate, free parking, a hot tub, and lawn chairs to enjoy the view of Lago Maggiore. The breakfast buffet was outstanding especially for Italian standards (which is usually cake with coffee). There were lots of choices also in joghurt and fruit The best part was the fresh orange juicer and the vegetable juicer. Hope they keep it as it is a lot of work for them to clean afterwards :-) We had the Tower Room ( I called it the Penthouse ;-) which was nice and spacious. The furniture & fixtures in the room and bathroom are of very high quality. The beds are very comfortable. Nice to be able to open the windows and have a view. The villa is located up in the hills just a 15 min drive from Stresa. We did a nice walk/hike through the woods up to a view point just above Gignese to the Panchina Gigante (the Big Bench) with our dog. Also the town Gignese is less than a 10 min walk from the Villa. It has a few restaurants which unfortunately we were not able to visit as one was closed and the other did not allow dogs. But enough choice along the Lake. Francesca who manages the villa is wonderful. She is very kind and helpful. We really appreciated her attention to detail and always being willing to help with any questions we had. We also loved the fact our dog was welcome on the property and in the garden. Naturally one needs to consider other guests but as we were there in off season, this was not a problem at all. We definitely will come back and highly recommend this beautiful property.

Sehr schön und ruhig gelegene Unterkunft. Das Gaus liegt auf einem parkähnlichem Grundstück. Hier kann man Ruhe finden und ist mit dem Auto ganz schnell in Stresa.
