Location was great for access to the Bernabau stadium . We had a late flight in arrived shortly after 2330 the staff were waiting for us albeit we were quoted additional fees for the service.

Checked in late on 10 March at approximately 23:40. Upon arrival, the apartment had clearly not been properly cleaned: the floor was covered in hair and dust, the skirting boards were dirty, the rug had not been hoovered, and there was grime under it. I immediately notified Minty Stay via WhatsApp with video evidence. They acknowledged the clean had been done "quickly" and offered a follow-up clean the next morning. The following morning, the shower drain was completely blocked, flooding the bathroom floor during use. The electric water heater (50-litre capacity) provided approximately three minutes of hot water per person — insufficient for two adults to shower without a one and half-to-two-hour wait between each use. This was never disclosed in the listing. When I requested a refund and advised I would be checking out to find alternative accommodation, this was refused. Minty Stay's position was that because a technician attended later that day and resolved the drain issue, no compensation was owed. They offered to send a clean team but they never came. I had already lost a morning of my trip waiting to shower and for a resolution with the blocked shower drain, and had been expected to occupy an unhygienic apartment overnight. I raised the matter with Booking.com and my bank. The communication from Minty Stay throughout was polite but ultimately unhelpful — apologetic in tone but unwilling to offer any meaningful resolution. Pros: Convenient location. Check-in staff were friendly in person. Cons: Poor cleaning standards, plumbing issues, undisclosed hot water limitations, refund refused.

Nice little apartment close to the metro, train and the Bernabéu.

The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. We couldn’t sleep properly in the time we stay impacting our overall health. If it’s a short weekend i guess it’s manageable but 15 days was so bad.
