The Bothy, Gallin, Glenlyon, Perthshire

Very clean, nice and warm on arrival.

Not much to dislike really, bit remote but we knew that anyway.

Very cozy cottage and friendly people. The Bothy ticked all the boxes immaculately presented and welcoming. A relaxing few days in tranquil surroundings. Cant wait to return.

Wonderful surroundings and plenty places for walk. Very excluded and you won’t see any people/tourists around. Getting there takes time but you’re ending up with a great place to relax, far away from the crowds. Property was easy access able and clean. We had everything we needed.

It is a really nice cottage in the middle of nowhere. If you want to hide from the civilization it is the perfect place. The scenery is amazing, the cottage is nice, cosy and very clean. Perfectly mixed the old and modern, I just loved it, as well my kids. It is fully equipped, even a tumble dryer is at hand. In the neighborhood there are plenty of beautiful trails as well.

If you are not a well trained driver, don’t go through the dam-drive. It is a really narrow single lane “road”. The scenery there is breathtaking, but you have to drive very carefully. There is a longer way to reach the cottage around the loch which is easier to drive.

We loved everything about the accommodation. It was clean, the beds were extremely comfortable and it was very tranquil. I would 100% recommend!

Perfect location for relaxing. Really enjoyed watching the activity on the farm. Angus and family (plus the dogs and baby bull) were super friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. A great trip and will be back!
