We enjoyed our stay !

Our family, including a 3 and 8-year-old, just returned from a magical trip with M'Hamid Sahara Camp! Arriving in M'Hamid, we were delighted to find a vibrant cultural festival in full swing. Cheikh Larbi's team went above and beyond, ensuring we felt safe and comfortable exploring the festivities. We then embarked on an incredible 3-night dromedary safari. Our guide was fantastic - knowledgeable, attentive, and wonderful with the kids. He led us through breathtaking landscapes, we even saw gazelles! The kids loved the gentle dromedaries. Sleeping under the stars was a highlight. With zero light pollution, the sky was an endless tapestry of stars - truly awe-inspiring! Cheikh Larbi, who grew up in the desert, shared his vast knowledge and passion with us. We learned so much about the ecosystem, the stars, and Berber culture. The camp itself was an oasis of comfort and tranquility, with delicious food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. As a father, I felt confident in the safety and security of the environment. We were treated like family. Highly recommend M'Hamid Sahara Camp for families seeking an authentic and unforgettable Sahara adventure!

This Nomad provides every hearts desire. Beautiful clean private tent with comfortable beds fantastic fresh home cooked food. Being my second stay here there have been many upgrades, shower block with pedestal toilets, separate restaurant with waiter service. They will arrange transport from airports, camel treks, 4x4 trekking across the Moroccan Sahara Dunes, Quad bike adventure, Atlas mountains and historic cities tours etc. Then relax with the good food, fires and entertainment for a good night sleep in the desert. I am planning to come again.

Wonderful real desert experience!!! You can get there by normal car (no 4x4 needed) though you have to drive carefully as the last part of the way is a gravel road. Larbi is a great host who will tell you about the real nomad life. The conditions are basic but it is close to real nomad life not in a style of a luxury tent. Bright stars at night, quietness and a very nice and honest host. I am sure one day we will be back to go with him to Erg Chegaga. Thank you Larbi for your kindness and stories you shared with us.

One could miss a "normal" bathroom with running water but it's a desert so it added a taste of authenticity to our stay.

The location is perfect, right next to erg Lehoudi. Larbi is the nicest person we have met in Morocco and he takes great care of everything. But please keep measure of your expectations look at the price and assume the best for this price level but not a luxury camp.

Due to strong rains before and during our stay the toilets and shower were not functional but not worry reparations are soon to take place.

The camp was very remote off the main road and next to some small sand dunes which was a perfect location. We picked up Larbi at the gas station and drove our car to the camp. He and his staff were very friendly and took care of everything we needed. We went to Erg chigaga dunes on the next day that Larbi arranged for a good price. Overall considering the location the facilities provided were quite nice. We also slept under the starry sky, they were sweet to arrange our beds outside although it was windy it was nice experience. Thank you so much!

The Camp is located way out in the desert and feels desolate in a tranquil, relaxing way.

Toilets we still being worked on but I did get a discount for that.
