Cosy holiday home, Scalloway, Shetland.

It was comfortable and modernised and had all the necessary facilities. It was especially warm, on cooler days and I particularly liked the shower, which was so easy to operate. WiFi was available and the host was very helpful with general enquiries. Also, free parking was available on a seafront carpark very near to the house. However, there was room in front to park for a short time to unload the car.

Excellent location in a scenic village near places to eat and well stocked shops. The house was warm, comfortable and well equipped. The host was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. He was very knowledgeable about the area and places to visit and very helpful about providing secure storage for our bicycles.

Location was good in the middle of a really lovely village. Eating places, shops and places of interest were within a short walking distance. Sea view and harbour right at the front door. We quickly felt 'at home' and relaxed in the house. We had all the facilities we needed. The bathroom has been newly renovated and looks good. The host was very helpful and friendly and his communication was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A minor point, but mirrors in bedrooms were too high for shorter people to see in. Some furnishings would benefit from a little updating, but that does not stop the house from being comfortable.

Lovely house, with comfy beds and plenty of room. Scalloway is a lovely place and is 10mins in the car from Lerwick.
