The Cosy Cottage, Old Soles bridge Lane

This was easier to find in the dark than I had imagined with clear instructions for late arrival. There was spacious parking signalled with 'landing' lights along the driveway and easy code to access the key. The space is compact but had everything I needed. The crisps and chocolates were a bonus to the regular teas and coffees etc and I could have cooked here easily had I needed to. Wifi offered a good signal too.

The cottage fulfilled my needs. The bed is narrow and would have been a squeeze for two. But this is a well thought out property and it felt cosy and homely too.

Lovely two room cottage with a combined living room and kitchen in one and the double bedroom plus ensuite in the second. Perfect for a couple but note description there is no space for a cot or additional bed. Warm, cosy and very well equipped. Great location and cottage was quiet despite proximity to motorway.

Keys were left ti be easily accessed for us and when we arrived it was very clean and cosy. It was very convenient for our stay to go to Harry Potter Studios and was well priced. It is very cosy with lovely decor to make it feel homely. Owners have left some nice things to add to the stay such as shower gels, blankets etc.

These didnt ruin our stay in any way but are things that could further enhance the stay: - Better arrival instructions on where to find it, its up the side of a driveway of a residential house - Only one pillow provided on the bed, maybe add some spares to the wardrobe so people have the option to have multiple - Window next to the door could do with a curtain or frosted glass for added privacy - Some extra utensils in the kitchen (wooden spoon, serving spoon, tea towel, foil)

It was quite cosy

The “cottage” sits beneath the M25 and no matter what other reviews say, once the TV is off and you are in bed you can hear it almost all night as it is like a prefabricated unit at the back of the house. There were no TV channels but there is iPlayer and other options. The lounge and kitchen are fairly small and although I sound very picky, it did smell of damp on arrival. After suffering with sleep deprivation and then having a cold shower in the morning (turned fully up on the hot) I then couldn’t turn the car and had to reverse quite far down the road before there was an opportunity to turn. It was one of the cars parked at the front of the property that made it impossible to turn. It isn’t all bad. It would probably suit most people but I’m a very light sleeper and still feeling a bit grumpy. I didn’t look at the map otherwise would have probably not stayed. You do need to sort the shower out though! It was cold.

Perfect location for Harry potter studios. The cottage is very clean, modern and cosy. All the amenities you need for the same price as a hotel room.

The only small comment we could say was the bed was a small double. So you may have to get extra cuddly.

Very private and well resourced. Lovely touches. It was a really nice stay and better alternative to a hotel. Easy access, no issues at all.

A lovely, cozy and brilliantly equipped apartment in a lovely part of Chorleywood - wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy it more!

It was very clean, tidy had everything you needed. The bed was a little small for two adults but as we were only there, neither of us particularly large, for a few nights it was ok.

Could do with some milk in fridge and instructions on how to use the TV.
