Bank House, Settle, Yorkshire Dales

Opening the front door there was a damp smell and the carpet on the stairs was badly stained. However the flat itself was in excellent condition.

Great location for our trips around North Yorkshire. The keys were easy to obtain as outlined by the hosts, and the flat had the facilities we required for our stay. The flat being in the centre of Settle is handy for anything you needed during your stay from the shops, and it having pubs near. by to eat in.

The flat is noisy from the traffic outside during the day and late evening/ early morning. The beds are comfortable, but could do with the foam removing and just using mattress protectors only. You do need to keep the curtains closed to keep heat out in hot weather.

Location excellent, pub and cafe nearby.

Would have liked some milk for the coffee

Very well located in the heart of Settle.

Kitchen facilities a bit cramped and only one tea spoon and two cups. Not ideal space if you wanted to cook a meal there which fortunately we didn't.

It was very clean with a comfortable bed. The apartment was quiet at night with very little road or neighbour noise throughout the stay. The location is excellent and we enjoyed how close to the town centre we were, with shops, cafes and pubs right outside the front door. The car park was also very close by (2 minute walk) and was very convenient for moving in/out. The surrounding walks/hikes within a 15 minute drive are incredible.

Kitchen equipment was a bit sparse, with only one blunt kitchen knife and no grater or scissors. We also couldn’t access Netflix on the TV - we felt this was a little misleading and couldn’t log into our own account as someone else’s was on there, but not at that “household”.

Located in the centre near shops, pubs, etc. Near the train station and bus route.

The one bad point was road noise. Lots of motor bikes until 11pm. From 6.30am heavy lorries passing through.
