Bank House, Settle, Yorkshire Dales

Breakfast not applicable.Very good location and close to pub on opposite side of the street for evening meals.Car parking is at the rear of the premises.It is Council pay and display but the next door working mens club offer better facilities at a cheaper rate depending on how long you are staying.The security is better there as you are issued with a ticket to display on the dasboard and the car park there is covered by CC TV camera.

The lighting was somewhat dim for reading purposes and I found the controls on the heating system radiator complicated,so much so that I was unable to warm the lounge.We became aware of a local problem in that lorries running back and forth to some local quarry start well befoe 6am.Apparently they are not permitted to do so and infringe some local legal arrangement on a daily weekday basis.Niot a great problem for me personally but it could be to guests not wanting such an early start to the day.

Loved the decor and the whole set up. We stayed in flat 4 which was on the top floor and have a great view of a local crag where we saw climbers so deffo coming back for that. Fab location right centre and the car park just down the walkway is amazing very close indeed. Clean and tidy as well. Bigger than it looks on the photos and like a proper flat. Would recommend.

Car parking was a bit of a pain - there was a weekly option for paid parking but the machine wouldn't work for us with that option.

The location in the heart of Settle was ideal for a few days in the area. It was close to the shops and pubs and a short walk from the car park. Communication with the host was very good and access via a key box was simple. The apartment was large with a great living space.

Nothing to dislike.

Location in a busy narrow street means lots of traffic noise starting with quarry wagons and later motor bikes

Location ideal for us as we where doing the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge, hamdybfor the first train rom settle station to Horton in ribblesdale for the start of the walk. Close to some nice places to eat, would recommend the golden lion and the Italian under the arches.

It’s central location in the centre of Settle, within a short walk if the railway station. It was comfortable, and clean and tidy on arrival.

A pint of milk in the fridge would have been a nice gesture.
