Nice boutique hotel. Friendly staff. Good location

Noisy rooms with door connecting apposing rooms. Often run out of towels. Beach club can be used by anybody not staying at the hotel which can effect service to people staying at the hotel.

The entire place was a dream. The amenities were great, the staff were so professional and friendly, the food and drinks were delicious, the whole experience was amazing.

It’s clearly a design forward property, very beautiful & visually elevated, perfect for photos & vibes. The swim-up pool was great on super hot days & the rooftop dip pool was a lovely spot to watch the sunset. The food at Fuego was delicious too!

Style sacrificed function when it really wasn’t necessary & it took away from the experience. There were quite a few housekeeping issues throughout our stay, like our pool pit being dirty with hair & bird poop all over it on check in & towels disappearing without being replaced. There were no hooks to hang wet swimsuits or towels & the in-room mood lighting is very dark with no ability to adjust it if you’d like to see when you’re applying makeup. It was also exceptionally loud, due to the beach club itself, partying neighbours & staff yelling outside our room starting at 7 am, along with AWA’s bizarre choice to play generic spa music on the loud speakers from 7:30 am. The concierge staff were nice enough but not overly helpful, and when the property next door was blasting music into the early morning, they just said there’s nothing they can do as it’s a private property. As the rooms are not soundproof at all I’m sure this is an ongoing issue, and staff should at least offer earplugs or a complimentary latte in the morning for guests who spent hundreds of dollars to not sleep. Overall, it’s a beautiful property, but there are many kinks to work out.
