Que estuviera delante del mar y su cercanía al Motu Ofetaru. Que la casa incluyera Kayaks y bicicletas. Poder observar el amanecer cada mañana. Que estuviera tan cerca del centro. La comodidad de la cocina y la terraza exterior.

Que hubiéramos reservado con Booking y la propietaria no supiera nada y tener la sensación de casi quedarnos sin casa. La relación calidad - precio me pareció excesiva. El terreno está bien pero la casa necesita actualizarse. También que, al estar al lado de la carretera, es ruidosa porque hay tráfico. El hecho de que no hubiera ningún detalle por parte de los propietarios, ni tan siquiera agua en la nevera, me pareció muy ridículo. En otras propiedades, pagando menos, han tenido algún detalle como incluir el desayuno o dejar agua, pan, café y mantequilla. Aquí nada de nada y ha sido de las más caras de nuestro viaje. Esta propiedad, con un poco más de atención y detalle, ganaría muchísimo. Es una pena la dejadez de sus propietarios.

Lovely house on the water with kayaks (not a suitable area to swim, but wonderful to be right on the water). Helpful staff. Both bedrooms had air-conditioning. Good kitchen. A short taxi-ride to the main part of town.

At first, it was hard to figure out how to open the front gate and we thought we were stuck, but someone came to help, and we realised how to slide it sideways! It was easy then.

The house was clean and neat, the location on the ocean was nice. The air-conditioning worked and the hosts did well with all the little details. Home does not have a coffee maker, but did have a electric pot to heat water, so we were able to configure a pour-over. Beds were comfortable and decent room for luggage. Other utensils and dinnerware were good. We used the grill and made a nice dinner, enjoyed the view.

There was some confusion with a last second change the hosts made and I didn't see, switching us from 290 to 292. We went to the original booking and were quite confused when luggage was there. I was able to eventually contact the hosts and get the change information (after driving around town to find wi-fi). The hosts also expected cash at the stay, when had already paid a month ahead of time through Booking.com.
