First Time we need to strip Bed since Corona

Amazing setting. Lovely people. Attention to sustainability

It was okay for our visit but even with the fan provided we imagine it might be hard to keep cool in hot weather

Set in beautiful grounds - ideal for a pre-breakfast stroll with the dogs. Next to farmland - cattle were grazing on the opposite slope, yet an easy downhill walk into Kingsbridge for the shops, pubs & eateries. The Loft Apartment was big enough for us, our 18yr old + 2 Boxer dogs. Good sized comfy double bedroom & a spacious lounge/diner/kitchen with double sofa-bed. Large matting to side of door, under coat rack gave plenty of space for shoes, slippers & walking boots plus for dogs leads etc. Didn't use the outside seating as we were out & about revisiting our favourite places, but a nice spot to relax with a book / drink. Ideal for our short break.

Shame there isn't a window on the one side of the sloped roof (ie facing the field). To give some natural light in the lounge & for extra ventilation in hot weather ... plus a nice view. Although there's daylight via the opaque glass in the front door & bedroom windows. Plus there is a big floor fan. Conversly, a blind on the door to block out early morning sun would be handy for anyone sleeping on the sofa-bed. The light didn't bother our teenager, but it would have woken me.

it was convenient and a central location enabling not too much travelling to get to our favourite places in the South Hams.
