"Absolutely wonderful time on the lake!"

Location was great. The peace and quiet was a highlight of the trip, great way to unplug from the city.

The place is right on the lake so the insects couldn't be helped

A gem of a place to stay. A hidden oasis where you can enjoy nature while still having the luxury of modern facilities. Nice hiking trails around the area. Braai, sky watching and boating facilities provided. Very romantic. Hosts are superb and very kind.

"A truly exceptional stay—rare to find a place this wonderful"

This is an absolute gem! The location is serene and beautiful in any weather. It was such a treat to wake up with the kingfishers, throw a line in the lake, make a cup of tea and sit on the deck. We were made to feel at home by the amazing hosts. They greeted us with a smile and warm welcome, and were always there to help.

To be honest, I can't really fault it.

"Amazing place"

This was our 2nd stay here and we really enjoyed it. The bird life is amazing. Bass fishing was good, but not as good as the 1st time. The cabin is very comfy, with everything you need. We will be going again.
