"If you don't need any human hospitality and like a very soft bed, this may be for you."

The location near Fayette State Park was great. The peaceful ground surrounding the facility were lovely. The breakfast was nice.

The bed was awful. Sunk into it like the frame was broken. The robo-check-in was annoying and required memorizing both a 4-digit lobby code and a 6-digit door code. They sent me 10 different e-mails to read.

"Our stay at the Garden Grove retreat was relaxing and peaceful."

The self serve breakfast was substantial and very convenient. We appreciated the fresh brewed coffee. The resort offered a tranquil and peaceful environment. The pathways around the grounds were especially beautiful.

Some of the furniture was a bit outdated, but overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Great location, we had planned to visit Fayette State Park during our stay.

We never got to check in. This is a self-check in facility and I couldn't get in. I spoke with another guest who said he received a separate email (not from Booking) with a PIN and further instructions. Great. I went through my Junk and Trash folders jus in case but couldn't find anything, so I called the number posted on the door for help and had to leave a VM. Not only did I not get a call back, I'm writing this four days later and still haven't been called. We ended up pulling the plug and made a mad dash to find a hotel (two hours away) so we had a place to sleep. Not impressed. You can keep my money for nothing, I will not be making this mistake again.

"Comfortable & relaxing"

The property was located in a lovely spot with extensive grounds. It contained spacious, restful community spaces and was very quiet. Breakfast was better than most we have encountered on this extended trip and the coffee was strong and good!

We were pleased with the accommodations; very clean & comfortable.

The room was spacious and very quiet.

The property is situated in a town that has zero places to eat. You need to drive 30 minutes to a larger town for any kind of meal.
