USThe home was beautiful, very well laid out and tons of amenities.
Not enough towels for the amount of guests. We arrived Friday and both messaged and called for assistance, FIBI, managing agency called 5/31 at 10:32pm, the night before leaving and offered to have towels shipped to us. I asked if they realized we were leaving when our reservation ended 6/1 10am. The agent hadn’t looked at that.. I explained at this point about 7 or 8 of the guests had used their clothes to dry off and were in bed because we were leaving early on 6/1 for a tour. It’s sad that I called 2x, messaged the property 2x and they never resolved the issue. It was embarrassing that I set up this stay and then had to ask friends to use their own clothes to dry themselves off in the shower. NOT TO MENTION, WHOEVER CLEANED THE HOUSE LEFT 1/2 dried towels in the house to be used. Gross. I The cleaner missed dumping the trash in the 2nd and 3rd floor bathrooms, one didn’t even have a liner and was bloody from tampons. The other halfway full of trash. Tags, paper, panty hose, doggy bag, and other trash on the 2nd floor. Mostly in closets, drawers, etc. Bathroom toilet paper holder wiggling out of wall. Dryer not operating properly (ie: shutting off after about 17 minutes during a run and not drying towels even after 5 17 minute runs). Upon reporting to the agency, I was sent a list of instructions for how to check the dryer (clean the lint trap, check both ends of the dryer exhaust for blockage (one of which was hanging outside of the window. I was told at 10:32pm, Saturday night, the next day after it was reported, that I could use the dryer outside. I walked with another guest to look for a dryer and there wasn’t one outside, so we checked the basement. Nothing there, BUT WE WERE HORRIFIED to find the basement door was left unlocked to street access. Prior to this, the agency said we usually leave extra towels and had me searching the house, only to find nothing “they always leave”.
