penthouse with great sea view and natural reserve - magnificent swimming pool - calm and bright

Prachtig appartement, goed uitgerust (wij vroegen om een strijkplank en die werd meteen nieuw geleverd). Heel vriendelijke ontvangst en uitleg door de host Maria en een heel vlotte communicatie zowel met de host als met de eigenaar.

Het enige minpunt zijn de trappen naar het zwembad en naar de oceaan. Wij waren met iemand die niet zo mobiel was en dan is die locatie, alhoewel ze prachtig was voor ons, niet aan te raden.

One of the best properties that we've stayed in over the years in Tenerife. The number one attraction has to be the views. The upper (roof) terrace has unobstructed views, but the lower terrace has roof terrace of the next apartment down in front (seems a bit of an odd arrangement). Overall the apartment is well appointed, but I would not consider it to be a luxury apartment (at best 4* rather than 5*). A few bits here and there (especially the bathrooms) are a bit tired, but overall very good. Accessing the apartment is from very end of Calle la Golondrina. Parking there was absolutely no problem, so no need to use the rather tight underground parking space. Property can be located using what3words: rebounded.unique.nobler

Recently stayed in this exceptional apartment with my wife & 5year old son. The communication with Erik before, & with the local host Maria was faultless The apartment is stocked with some of the bare essentials you need to start yourself off, and the cupboards are well stocked with everything you need for cooking & eating in the apartment The apartment is a small walk downstairs to a lovely pool area & a short walk to the rocky beach downtown (5mins) There is an underground car park you can use, but we just parked on the street with no issues. There are supermarkets & restaurants within a 5/10min walk & everything we ate either out or when we got take away was absolutely beautiful (we loved having take away on the beautiful balcony for sunset) I cannot recommend this apartment enough 10/10 Would definitely use this place again & again

This is not a negative, but from one side access you have to climb 146 stairs to be exact (but this can be avoided by walking an alternate way along the street)

The apartment was nicely located in a private gated community and was the highest point which overlooked all other homes in the area. Definitely felt safe and enjoyed the night and morning views!! A huge plus to the location of the apartment is the amazing food options nearby! It's a quick commute to the busy faster paced area of Tenerife, but staying in the peace and quiet, plus having the great Spanish food is amazing! The restaurant we ate most often was "La 3.60 Palm Mar "Guachinche Palm Ma". Great prices and some of the best food we have ever eaten! Definitely check it out!!

This is not so much a negative because the owner worked with us very well! We arrived and the kids were so excited to see and swim in the private pool. Upon arrival there was yellow tape marking the gate to the pool and it said it was closed indefinitely with no expected opening date. We were extremely saddened by this and had to let the kids know to remain positive in hopes of it opening up soon. We found out it would not open until our 5th day of our 7th day stay but the owner recommended we utilize the local water park (Siam Park) and was willing to provide some financial compensation due to this inconvenience. This was very appreciated and really made the frustrations subside immediately!! Top notch customer care and we could tell they really wanted us to enjoy our stay!

It turned out reasonably OK in the end, but feel very annoyed that there was no air conditioning. Roof Terrace was amazing, spectacular views. Although it’s in a biggish complex it actually felt fairly quiet and peaceful. Enough space for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Great pool with lots of loungers. Very calm location with some excellent places to eat locally. Easy to reach other parts of the island.

I feel I was deceived with false advertising. Which this property continues to do. BE WARNED! There was no air conditioning even though the property is clearly advertised as having air conditioning and was a pivotal piece of information when choosing to select a Holiday home in a country where the temperatures are 30 degrees and above. There was only 1 fan, not nearly enough for the space. It cost me more money as I had to go out and buy more fans for the apartment. I requested a partial refund for this and this was denied. I have asked the host AND booking.com to amend their description and this has not been done. The pool is not a private pool, it is a shared pool within the complex. We had to park on the street, and there wasn’t always close parking, despite it being advertised with own parking spot. Was told this wasn’t available because there was no battery in the remote, which isn’t good enough. There is no hot tub, it’s a jacuzzi feature in the bath. Not enough information in the apartment about what is available and how things work. It was on the last day I found the light above the cooker and the floaties for the pool in the storage on the roof terrace. Only eating space is outside on the lower terrace so if it rains you are stuffed!
