World's End Base Eco-Village

Het is een prachtige plek. Een fijn en schoon zwembad, een klein riviertje, een volleybal of badminton veldje en een grote hangmat. Overal waar je kijkt is het uitzicht prachtig, op de bergen of de omliggende rijstvelden. Ook vanuit de kamers. Het personeel is vriendelijk (de Engelse taal zou wat beter kunnen) en de vrolijke chef-kok maakt lekker eten voor je klaar. Kortom, een hele fijne plek om te verblijven. Vooral als je rust zoekt is het echt een aanrader.

Het werd niet zo duidelijk wat je in de omgeving kunt doen. Je zou verwachten dat er in de bergen meer wandelingen mogelijk zijn. Het is niet erg geschikt als uitvalsbasis voor Horton plains en Worlds End. Dat is ruim 2,5 uur rijden.

Superb location

Chef - we ate all our meals there and all of it was incredible. There were 8 of us and we LOVED every meal . Such care was taken with it all .so fresh .

We thought we could get to Horton Plains from there but it was over a 2 hour drive so we were disappointed.

To be honest ..there wasn't anything not to like ..the Staff were very welcoming and helpful and always available. Beautiful Peacefull surroundings in a very well maintained setting, the hotel offers plenty of facilities with pool and badminton area ....will definitely be coming again ...thank you so much

We loved our night in this hotel. The room was very luxurious! We had a beautiful view over the pool and mountains and a huge bed!! Plus a sofa, a space for a small kitchen area / space to hang your clothes, and bathroom. All of this space made it very comfortable. We felt like a king and queen in this room, looking out over our kingdom!

Breakfast was not included in the room price, and since we paid extra for the breakfast we expected something a bit better. It was fine, but it was simply a basic continental breakfast which was a bit boring. The dinner menu offered so many options which we thought was great but the quality of the food was not so great and the portions were not very big, so we ordered more than we thought we had to and therefore paid more than we normally would for dinner in Sri Lanka.

The best hotel in Sri Lanka. Kind and nice staff Very high-level chef Amazing food. Excellent pool. Great rooms. Wonderful nature Including a stream flowing inside the hotel Natural pools Perfectly engineered seating areas. Peacocks flying above you. In short, highly recommended for anyone who wants a special experience of nature and wonderful food.
