Harbour Escape - Church Farm

The caravan was exceptional. Clean, tidy, lots of extra bits to make the stay lovely (we didn't use them, but there were board games and extra bits for little ones like toilet seats and plastic plates and some teas and coffees). Large and spacious, well equipped and even had little extras like washing up liquid and towels to get you started on your stay. Lovely caravan, lovely decking to sit outside. Really well done in the caravan itself. One of the nicest we've stayed in.

We didn't realise we'd have to buy activity passes for myself, my husband and 9 month old to use the pool. Haven quoted us over £75 for the 4 days. This was a disappointment as we would have luke to have used the pool with the baby. The photos show a view from the decking over the hedge (one of the reasons we wanted this caravan as we knew we'd use the decking a lot with the baby) but the hedge was so over grown there was no view at all. There was also a vague path over the dune/bushes to the coastal path and unfortunately there were a rowdy rugby team of teenagers staying in the 2 vans next to us. They used this each night anf it was hard to get the baby to sleep (bad management from the adults in charge). In the final night a massive party moved in to the 3 v. large caravans behind and partied hard until past 11.30 when I finally had to ask Haven to do something about the noise as no one could sleep. They did come and stop the party proceeding outside the caravan.

Shame about the view but maybe it was the long grass due to wild life ?

The location was amazing.. sunrise (over lake) and sunset(coastal path) just a heartbeat away.. Full sunshine all day and evening.. very quiet and relaxing..

Sadly the patio furniture needs replacing, few bulbs didn’t work..

The caravan was a good size and had all the amenities expected. I especially liked the size of the wardrobe in the double bedroom.

The sofa wasn't very comfortable and there was dog poo on the decking or some kind of brown stain that looked unsightly.

Lovely clean van in a good location.
