Foxy cottage nr Westward Ho!

Foxy cottage was amazing, equipt with everything you could possibly need, a real home from home. It was lovely and clean, spacious but cosy. All 3 of us really enjoyed our stay here. It was also a perfect location to explore the area, with Appledore, Instow, Westwood wo, Bideford and shops all less than a 10 minute drive away.

A pleasant stay in Foxy cottage which is in a quiet area.Some aspects need a little attention but in general it was all ok.It had a good sized garden which would have been even better with a bit of tlc - we had to clean of the green algae before we could use the outside furniture.The village had a couple of friendly pubs , a good Chinese takeaway and a really good bus service.

The front door lock was a bit loose so had to be careful when using it .The key box was a bit fiddly too. The garden was an asset which needed a lick of paint and some weeding. One bed in twin room was uncomfortable and additional towels would have been good.

Inside the cottage was clean, and in a good location.

There were not enough towels, no hand towel in the cloakroom, for example. The garden decking area was very poor, in desperate need of replacing and the table and chairs were in poor condition.

It was gorgeous inside. Lovely shower and comfortable sofa. Kitchen had everything and managed to even sit in the garden for two nights. Perfect location for Appledore, Clovelly & Westward Ho. Highly recommend.

There was plenty of space, the outside garden would have been a treat if the weather had of been good. The cottage was very clean and very well equipped.
