Foxy cottage nr Westward Ho!

To be honest the property was lovely and spacious. Beautiful kitchen. Excellent shower.

It was just the final touches. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Not up to my standard of cleanliness but I am a little OCD 😬. The garden was great for the dog well secured but requires some TLC.

Loved that we had parking, and could access the car from the back door. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you may need

We knew there was no WiFi, which had good and bad elements but overall we didn't mind, just haven't stopped somewhere with no WiFi in a long time. Back gate was difficult to close

great space for a family - kitchen very well equipped, lots of thoughtful things you would need for your stay including tea coffee and washing tablets for the machine and shampoo & conditioner. Great bathroom with deep bath & powerful shower, needed after long days in the beach.

Unfortunately we found the double bed uncomfortable and so didn’t so sleep well - mattress very thin & springy No curtains in the bedrooms - although there are blinds, the rooms become very light very early. A mirror upstairs somewhere would be handy to do hair etc - only a mirror in the bathroom… No Wi-Fi

-Nice location and quiet. -Good size property for a family, including garden and big fully equipped kitchen

-The mattresses, pillows and duvets were very basic and felt like sleeping in a bouncy castle. I wouldn't expect top of the range mattress, pillow and duvet but these looked like the cheapest Argos options. -The property was full of dog hair (including the bed). If you allow pets in your property you need to at least clean it properly. We had to go and buy new beddings to sleep on. -No Wi-Fi was provided. I noticed that in the description when we arrived there so it was my mistake for not checking but in 2023 I think Wi-Fi is basic so I didn't even think to check.

lovely kitchen and bathroom, everything as described with a few extras such as air fryer and wine! Mobile signal was good and we used hotspot with fire stick to access subscription TV networks

nothing , although with an open staircase in living area a stair-gate would be great to ensure dogs or young children can’t access upstairs but we used furniture to achieve same for our dogs. The stable door into kitchen was great for same reason

we loved the modern kitchen and bathroom but with the original features of the house. We loved the attention to detail when it came to appliances in the kitchen; having plastic cups and plates for the children was really helpful. I loved the open plan feel of the property and the decking in the garden. I loved that we could walk to the shops and library and that there were many amenities within a few minutes drive. the Thatched Inn and The Pier House are 2 of our favourite places to eat and they are only a 5 minute drive away.

We missed having a shelf or chest of drawers in the bedrooms.
