Das Hotel hat mir ausgesprochen gut gefallen. Es liegt in einer schönen Lage, mit angenehmer Atmosphäre, und die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Essen war einfach einzigartig, ein Genuss bei jedem Besuch. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Personal: stets freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Ganz besonders aber verdient Roshan eine Erwähnung. Dieser Mann lebt seinen Beruf mit voller Leidenschaft. Er war immer für mich da, kümmerte sich herzlich um alles und organisierte oder besorgte mir Dinge, ohne dass ich je darum bitten musste und das ganz ohne Gegenleistung. Für ihn ist dieser Einsatz selbstverständlich, für mich jedoch keineswegs, und genau das schätze ich sehr. Ich halte Roshan und seine Arbeit in höchsten Ehren. Wegen dieses außergewöhnlichen Services und der gesamten Hotelqualität kann ich das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

The best staff I’ve experienced in the five hotels / resorts I stayed during our trip to Sri Lanka. Special shout out to Rohan (Chef / Manager) who was an all rounder. He was not only kind but during our stay ensured we don’t feel short of anything and made us feel like a VIP guest.

Would have been nice to have some facilities but can’t complain since it’s a small beach villa with 6 rooms.

It was a really hood stay. The room is spacious and quiet with a great view. Good breakfast and the hotel’s staff were very nice and helpful

Nothing We arrived to the property to find it unsuitable from description on booking.com. Not anything we wanted and smelt damp and was dirty

Room was beside the public toilet & next to reception. On ground floor no view as requested. It said it was near town which was untrue.

Couldn’t recommend this place any more, every staff member was well presented, polite and attentive. The whole villa was immaculate and the pool area was very well maintained and overall spotless. The food cooked my chef Roshan was the best food we had in the whole of Sri Lanka and he would go above and beyond to change items to be more suited to what you need.

The only small part that was not stated when booking was that alcohol can’t be served however there is a wine shop 2 minutes down the road walk and the staff members also were happy to go and collect the alcohol list if that’s what you would prefer, this was not a problem to us and did not affect our stay but is something to think about when booking.

One of my best stays ever was in this beautifully setup and well maintained property. The room size was very big and spacious ( Room - Turtel ) The highlight of my stay was the food served by the chef who makes each and every dish with perfection and as per your requirements. To top on that, we had a beautiful sea view from our balcony and dining area. The place is such a vibe.

Hardly anything to say. I had a minor issue with my rooms a/c, and they changed my room immediately.

the only thing which was great was staff, they tried to save every situation, they dont have any alcoholic drinks there so they offered us they will go and by it in shop close by, they let us have breakfast after official time as we spent longer time at the whale watching as planned, they tried their best - thats only reason i dont let the lowest rating

The place is nothing like five star hotel as mentioned in description, the place is just a small building with beach access and 5-6 rooms, next to it is plot full of garbage from one side and other side similar building, there are no 24 hours services as hotel should have - this is definitely misleading combination of photos and booking rating, they didnt have drink from menu - small menu with 5 mocktails and 5 soft drinks, but they could not make some of that, the room with terrace is not really terrace, its room with walls connected to the reception, so you hear all the noice, the terrace is terrace of the restaurant so no privacy, you cant even let your curtains open as everybody can see inside your room, the entry to the room is just next door to the toilet, the bathroom was big but with no logic, you dont have hanger for the towels, it is clean but thats all, one big "room" is at the same time reception, lobby, breakfast room, dinner room and all combined, just a bad dream, i didnt go to another hotel just because we had luckily booked only one night.

The food was amazing and the service was exceptional, they were very helpful with arranging transport, activities and helping wherever we needed. The location was also perfect about a 5 min tuk tuk from the centre of Marissa which was perfect as it was far less chaotic in this location.
