"A lovely location which was close to my workplace and lovely to come back to after work."

Keys were in the door when I arrived and the wood-burning fire was lit making the cottage cosy and warm. The cottage is in a lovely location among fields and woodland, very quiet and dark at night. There are narrow roads whilst approaching the lane to the property but these are quiet and I never met anyone coming the other way whilst driving. The landlady Pat was very friendly and helpful and explained all the features of the cottage well. The cottage facilities are good, with plenty of pans and trays for cooking. There was a Cornish scone with jam and clotted cream which was very welcome on arrival.

Nothing at all - perhaps the fire was a bit smoky at times and filled the cottage with a bit of smoke, but opening the windows and prepping the fire correctly would negate this issue.
