Starhost - Casa del Principe infinity seaview terrace

This house is incredible. Upon meeting our host and following him up the stairwell, around the upper story courtyard, and up the final tower stairs we were awed by the breathtaking views of the Amalfi coast and the amazing home. The architecture feels like living history and the rooms are spacious with artistic detail that make you feel like you've stepped back in time. The views are unmatched - we climbed the other tallest towers in the town and can attest to this. This place is perfect for a family or small group with plenty of space to stretch out and within easy walking distance of all the Ravello sights and local transportation stops.

There is only a single key to lock and unlock the multiple entry doors. This can present a challenge for a group with independent activities, as coordinating who has the key to get back. The main street level door also requires the key to both get in or out, so don't forget to bring it down the stairs with you to let someone in or you'll be out of breath running and up and down all the stairs twice.

Carlo worked for the mgmt company and met us upon arrival. The view from the house is arguably the best in Ravello. There is a cost for that. It's up the hill from the main square where all the restaurants and shops are. Its is not a walk for seniors. The walk up the stairs to the property is significant. The house is spacious with two bedrooms, and 2 detached bathrooms. It's an old house. You couldn't turn on the cold water without a loud shoutout from the pipes. There is a kitchen with a washing machine. We ate out each night so did not cook. You could dry the clothes outside. WIFI was good.

Ravello is the old city and just about every hotel or private property you stay at is not reachable by car unless you are staying at the Caruso hotel. From drop off it was quite a long walk and up many stairs to the house. Carlos offered to assist with luggage for 10-15 euro per bag which is excessive for Monte Carlo or NYC. We had an ant issue in the master bedroom - floor and bed. We had enough toilet paper for one night. We messaged Carlo during the evening and later at night and he suggested we should not message him so late at night. It was suggested to us that toilet paper was for the first roll only. He also gave us only one set of keys. We requested another set as we were 2 pairs of married couples. The garbage is left downstairs and as a result there are many flies as the garbage is not covered. It would be much more convenient to stay on the same level as the main square - there are many hotels there. But, it's also more expensive. So you get what you pay for! Finally, the air conditioner in one bed room was sub optimal. Mgmt company said they called a company to fix - but could not fix till after we checked out. We were there 4-5 nights!

Spectacular views from the roof top and main terasse. A lot of space to relax in a historic setting.

Starhost could be more pro-active to contact customers. I had to try multiple addresses before I got into contact with Carlo, who was then very helpfull.

Great location with great views! Walkable to many things. Carlo helped us so the our luggage and recommendations.

It’s very old with a lot of stairs but that is the hilly area of Ravello.

Spectacular views - we went to visit our family where they were staying and it was gorgeous but, we had the spectacular view!!

Lots of steps though🥴 but worth it! The floors were very dusty and we had and 18th old bubba walking around….

Super location, beautiful, spacious historical building with incredible views of the coastline. Comfortable beds, excellent air conditioning and shower facilities. Safe and secure location and building. Friendly knowledgable host who remained in contact throughout our stay with helpful suggestions and recommendations. Netflix available on TVs of which there are 3 in total. Fast efficient wifi.

Steep steps just before entering property. Stair wells were perfectly accessible.
