Location and off road parking

Everything, it was disgusting, dirty, sink had a rag shoved down the drain, dust everywhere, bedding pilled, we ended up not staying and reporting it to booking.com. We checked into travel lodge and got straight in the shower, no smoke alarm, just all round disgusting.

The area was lovely; it was a very quiet close . The initial impression was great. The rooms were spacious. There were three- ish bedrooms.

The whole house was in dire need of a makeover. The main bedroom was lacking proper full length hanging space. There was dust on the bedside area. The house was cold and the portable heaters were small and insufficient. The bathroom sink was clean however we didn’t venture into taking a shower as we were all ready for a night out. The kitchen sink was had some green mould on it and the tap once running into the drain hole gave off a foul smell like mildew. I wasn’t cooking so can’t comment on the experience. The tv wasn’t giving a signal. If I had been accompanied by my husband it would have been a problem. The doors to the conservatory were removed. Downstairs was very cold due to this “home improvement”

Tidy and clean with more facilities, beautiful designed, self checkin also owner was very helpful and understanding person

Cold, draining board FULL of washing up on arrival with nothing in the kitchen had been wiped,wet bedding hanging upstairs, socks hanging from the plant pots in the garden and the patio the slabs moved dangerously. Had asked for an early check in of one hour earlier which was told the cleaner would be pushed and I had said for them not to go OTT as we wouldn’t be in the house that much just to sleep, but for the price paid a wipe over of the kitchen and the wet bedding hanging on the landing are things that take minutes, having wet bedding hanging around in a cold property is not good and if the issue of the 1 hour earlier check in was an issue I would of understood.

Good comms from owner. Good location Easy access via lock box Good parking Good size of property for our needs Previous reviews of limited crockery, cutlery, towels - all ok now. Plenty of loo rolls, kitchen roll, wash up liquid.

Limited kitchen utensils. Baking trays etc Some broken blinds, door lock. Limited storage in smaller 2 bedrooms. All reported to owner who was greatful for me letting him know. Apart from this, the property was ideal for a family of 4.

Location was perfect for what we needed, 2 off-road parking spaces were also very useful. Whilst the kitchen is tight it’s well equipped and the downstairs space is very useable

Listing saying air conditioned - but there were no controls or vents to be seen. We have provided feedback on individual items to the host, some of them have been mentioned before like the lack of toilet paper

Lovely house, great location for us visiting family. Plenty of space and facilities.
