We have spent two days in the appartment and it absolutely fullfilled our needs. Nice bedrooms, big beds, equipped kitchen, big terrace to the street. Free parking next to the building. Kids have enough place to sleep. Close to the city center, Aristoteles square, maybe 2 or 3 bus station, which is in front of the building. One outlet mall is behind the corner. Good and strong internet. Nice bathroom, with enough towels. Exactly worth the value. It will be ideal if it overlooks to the back street, but nothing in life is perfect.

Everything was good.

It was a contactless check-in, which was very convenient as there was no need to coordinate arrival time. The apartment is located a bit outside the city center, which can be reached by public transport. We traveled by car. The apartment is small but modern and had everything we needed for a short stay. Parking directly in front of the entrance is not allowed—there’s a sign, and you could be fined. However, there are plenty of parking spaces around the building.

One thing we missed throughout Greece was a cutting board—it was a bit inconvenient when we needed to chop vegetables or fruit.

The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, the owner was very responsive and helpful. The AC worked great. A shopping mall is 2min walk away and has a few fast food restaurants open until midnight which was nice after we arrived at 11pm and everything else near was already closed :)

The water heater for the shower has (we assumed) a timer set on how long it stays on so it happened sometimes that even though we turned it on immediately after returning to the apartment, that it turned off automatically after some time which we of course noticed when the first person took a shower. But the water becomes warm immediately after turning it back on so it’s not a huge problem. A shower curtain would also be nice as half of the bathroom becomes wet when showering. Both of these things are just minor inconveniences and would not turn me away from booking again :)

If you are visiting Thessaloniki, Purpe Orchid Studio might be a good choice for a couple of nights. The studio is clean, fairly large and has two bedrooms (one is on the larger side, one is a little bit smaller). The studio also has a living room and a very big balcony to spend your time. It is well equiped with everything you might need. If you are up for a walk, it is aproximately 30 minutes away from city center, otherwise you can also call for an uber and get there in 5 minutes (very cheap - around 5 Euro). The price for what it offers is more than fair (I don't think you can get more quality for the money paid anywhere in Thessaloniki) Also the host is happy to answer any questions or request you might have.

The building is not that appealing (inside or out) and the area can give you mixt feelings (especially on the alleys; the main street is ok). However we had no problems with the neighbourhood the two nights we spent here.

The unit is big, clean and modern. Fully equipped kitchen all new.The host fixed the issues we had quickly. The appartment is located in a busy street without proper sound proof so the noise was unbearable.The bed was big but the mattress is very soft and we could not sleep well because of the noise and the mattress.otherwise is a well taken care of unit.Close to the one Salonika mall and busses to the city. If you like soft beds and don't care about the noise, the appartment is for you.
