C’est un établissement qui fait aussi restaurant et la piscine est ouverte au public. Beaucoup de familles avec des enfants viennent à la piscine pour se baigner alors qu’ils ne logent pas à l’hôtel. Le bruit est intenable et insupportable. Même dans la chambre on ne pouvait pas rester. Le petit déjeuner est très sommaire, nous qui sommes végétariennes avions droit à une soupe avec des pâtes instantanées. Même du riz il ne pouvait pas le proposer au petit déjeuner.

We stayed here for 2 nights because we wanted to explore the Cao Bằng area. First of all, I want to start positively by saying that the staff were very friendly and helpful, even though they barely spoke any English. However, after our 8-hour journey, we were met with a huge surprise upon arrival. There was a massive children’s party taking place at the accommodation with probably around 60 people in total. The entire pool area was packed, loud music was blasting, and as hotel guests we could not use any of the facilities at all. We did receive an apology for this, but it still felt very strange. After reading other reviews, it seems these kinds of local events happen quite frequently. The pool is also basically a public neighborhood pool where many children and families come during the day. So if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is definitely not the place to stay. In the photos, the accommodation looks well maintained, but in reality this is absolutely not the case, especially when it comes to the rooms. We are not overly picky and are used to basic accommodations, but this room was extremely dirty. The bathroom was full of mold, the shower drain did not work causing the entire bathroom to flood after one minute of showering, the shower head is broken, and even the bathroom door nearly came off when opening it. On top of that, the room is basically an open hut with large gaps and holes everywhere. Because of this, both noise and huge insects can easily get inside the room. Of course you are staying in nature, but sleeping next to insects that were sometimes 6 cm long was simply too much for us. You can also hear your neighbors word for word, making a good night’s sleep nearly impossible. The curtains are very thin as well, and bright outdoor lights stay on all night and shine directly into the room. The food was okay, but the restaurant only opens at 4:00 PM, so having lunch at the accommodation is not possible.

Tout était parfait, le lieu, les personnes qui gèrent cet endroit, les repas, la literie. Les chambres sont incroyables, tout est propre. La piscine est immense avec une vue sur la montagne.

Very scenic and beautiful location. The facilities and pool were excellent. The room itself was clean and tidy.

Nothing that the hotel could have done about it, but with it being located in and around nature, you have to understand that you WILL encounter insects and creatures. During our stay we were visited by spiders and lizards in the room. Just something to be aware of when booking, you need to be okay with that possibility. The noise of the insects on a night is also very loud. After booking 2 nights, we decided to only stay 1, due to spider encounter in the bathroom and the noise keeping us awake all night.

Khuoi is like suddenly landing in West Italian Alps, the residence is so classy, the garden is breathtaking and so is the pool view. The stuff was so lovely and they had puppies. I loved the mosquito net around the bed. It was a must have in this area. Best standard around Cao Bang in my opinion.

The lodges have bathrooms with gaps between them you can literally hear every bit from your neighbours, especially in the bathrooms. The shower was a bit sloppy it was giving hot or cold water only and spraying water around the bathroom.
