"Comfortable stay and well fed at Renvyle on the glorious west coast of Ireland"

Remote, wild location and charming character property. Magnificent breakfast, I had the plaice, lovely fresh fish delicately cooked. Plenty of rooms in which to sit with comfortable furniture, from sunny conservatory to warm by the fire.

Quite a drive to get there. We had dramatic light and glorious still conditions going in and rain heading back towards Galway, but it was November. Nothing much we didn’t like. Older demographic, probably not the place for young people looking for nightlife.
