Nice size for a couple , good location in terms of having a mall with a supermarket , gym and fast food behind . Bit further out from the main area , like 20mins

There was no curtain for the kitchen window which faces inside so people walking by can look in and the toilet is directly opposite with window

The property itself is lovely - all the amenities inside, pool in building, parkade, full bathroom and kitchen stocked, tea and coffee, nice bed couch and tv - perfect to relax for the evening.

The low score is based solely on the lack of communication from the host. In short, the host completely stopped replying to us from the day check in and onwards, thus leaving us stranded at night without a way to find or enter or unit, which is very unsafe and frustrating. In detail, We received no check in directions prior to check in. Most notably, the host did not reply to us whatsoever when we needed help regarding this! The host was messaged prior to check in arrival when we landed that day, no reply. When at the apartment around 2230, we literally had no directions as to how to access the unit, called the host numerous times (on both contact numbers provided and booking.com), no reply. The only reason we were able to find and enter the unit was because we randomly found another apartment resident who called the host, who then answered, who then told them where to find the keys (which was in a place we would have not randomly stumbled upon ourselves!) and which unit was ours (units are not labelled and thus prior to this we were gently tapping on other units doors to try and find ours!). Thereafter, I messaged the host to follow up and to confirm check out directions (ex. Where to leave the key) and still have not heard back from the host once.

I was happy with the choice of this accomodation. The furniture and appliances were pretty new. It was clean. Shirlene and Yves let me check-in earlier what was very important for me after my long journey. They are friendly and reliable hosts which gave me good advice. The apartment owner Ravi also asked back, if I like the apartment. The shower has a good pressure. I used the wifi connection only on the tv and it worked. There's a nice terrace in front of the apartment. My stay on Mauritius was short. Unfortunately I didn't have time to use the gym. I would love to stay there again, if ever on Mauritius again.

Several times in the evening I didn't get a parking space in front of the building.

- easy check in - good location if you have a car, 5 mins from shopping mall, restaurants and 10-15 mins from nice beaches - good size apartment

- dirty - noisy - very bad ventilation in the bathroom - very uncomfortable mattress For the same price we have found much better accommodation in Mauritius.
